Is there a swimming pool in the Clayton Whites Hotel?
Clayton Whites Hotel features the fabulous Club Vitae leisure centre with 20m pool, kiddie’s pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. Access is complimentary for hotel residents. Swimming hats are required and can be bought at the leisure centre reception.
How far are the nearest bus & train stations?
O’Hanrahan Station, Wexford, is located 5 minutes’ walk away from the hotel on Redmond Square which is also where the public and private bus connections stop. You can easily get to the hotel on foot, even if you have a luggage. For more directions click here.
Where can I park?
There is an underground car park with 250 spaces including 8 accessible spaces in the hotel. Discounted rates are available for residents. Please note the maximum vehicle height is 2m.
Do you have Electric car charging stations?
Clayton Whites Hotel underground parking features two electric car charging stations available to our guests, perfect if you have an electric car. This charging point is accessed via EasyGo. For your convenience we would recommend that you download the EasyGo app prior to your arrival and subscribe to either a prepay or pay as you go subscription. The EasyGo app can be downloaded from the Apple store or Google play store.

What are the check in / check out times? Can I request early check in?
Check in time is 4.00pm, check out time is 12.00am. We will do our best to accommodate early check in requests, however it may not be possible on certain occasions. You are welcome to drop your luggage at the reception and use the hotel facilities while we are getting your room ready.
How far from the shopping area and town centre is Clayton Whites Hotel located?
We are positioned in the heart of Wexford Town on Abbey Street, which runs parallel to Main Street. The town centre and shopping are quite literally on our doorstep so you don’t have the hassle of looking for a car park.
Are dogs allowed to stay in the hotel?
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted to stay at the hotel with the exception of assistance dogs.
Is there any entertainment available in the hotel?
The Library Bar at Clayton Whites Hotel generally offers live music on Friday and Saturday nights all year round with the exception of July and August when we have live music on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Is there a spa in the hotel?
Clayton Whites Hotel is a home to the award-winning Tranquillity Spa and Wellness Centre, one of the most popular spa experiences in Wexford.
Is there a kids club available in the hotel?
Our Crafty Kids Club runs from 5.30pm – 9.00pm, Sunday – Thursday, and from 5.30pm – 10.00pm, Friday and Saturday, throughout July and August. Please book daily by 5.00pm as places are limited. 1 complimentary pass per child with the Summer Family Break package. €5 per child per day thereafter. Suitable for children aged 4-12 years of age. Under 4s may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Clayton Whites Hotel has a strong reputation for great food, offering a wide range of menus to suit all tastes and budgets in the heart of Wexford town. With floor to ceiling windows, the bright and airy Terrace Restaurant, overlooking the fabulous courtyard, offers a 4-star dining experience. Alternatively, guests can relax and enjoy a selection of sweet treats or afternoon tea in the Red Bean Roastery Coffee Dock in the Ground Floor Foyer or dine from the daily lunch menu or evening bar food menu in the cosy Library Bar.
How far is the nearest beach and how do I get there?
The nearest beach is the amazing Curracloe Beach, a consistent Blue Flag award winner. It is approximately 15 minutes from the hotel by car, you simply cross over Wexford bridge and follow the sign posts to turn right towards Curracloe. Curracloe Beach stood in for Normandy, France for the D Day landings scenes in Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan.
