The newly refurbished ballroom can host from 80 to 100 people in McClure Suite 2,100 to 220 people in McClure Suite 1, and 220 to 350 people in the full McClure Suite, so whether you want a more intimate day or a big celebration, we can tailor the venue to your needs.

Clayton Whites Hotel is also registered to facilitate Civil Ceremonies, with a choice of outdoor or indoor spaces for your ceremony and we are delighted to say that when you book your wedding reception with us, we waive all room hire fees for your civil ceremony.
Civil Ceremonies in The McCarthy Suite
Our intimate McCarthy suite is perfect for a civil ceremony venue and is located on the 1st floor. This space is flooded with natural light and can host ceremonies for up to 80 guests.
McClure Civil Ceremony Venue
Perfect for the couple who are planning a big wedding but want the ease of having it all under the same roof. The refurbished McClure Suite 2 is on the 1st floor and can host civil ceremonies for up to 250 guests. Mood lighting will tie in with your reception colour scheme and a beautiful fairy light backdrop will help create a romantic atmosphere.
Redesigned Courtyard
For a town centre location, we are fortunate to have a beautiful courtyard that has been designed with open-air wedding receptions specifically in mind. You will take centre stage with the celebrant or registrar while your guests relax in the warmth of the sun as they watch you say ‘I do’ amongst the olive trees.
