Indulge yourself from head to toe in the Tranquillity Spas Thermal Suite. We are the only spa in Wexford town to provide the Thermal Suite Experience which encompasses a hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna, laconium, lifestyle showers, tepidarium, heated loungers, and plunge pool.

A relaxing sanctuary, the Thermal experience is designed to detoxify, enhance, slim, moisturize, and invigorate your entire well-being.

The Wexford Thermal Suite experience is complimentary with every treatment of 55 minutes and over. Choose from a choice of our spa special offers.

The Thermal Suite is currently unavailable as a stand-alone experience due to social distancing regulations and on the advice of the HSE.

As part of our spa guidelines, the use of the Thermal Suite is not permitted during pregnancy. Swimwear is necessary for the thermal suite and robes and slippers are provided. The Suite facilities are unisex. Please note that some of these facilities may not be open due to the current COVID-19 situation.

Hydrotherapy & Plunge Pool

Our hydrotherapy pool incorporates a variety of body jets to ease away any aches and pains. The spacious pool is heated, and the waters are mineral-rich for your skin’s needs.

The cold-water plunge pool is beneficial in stimulating your blood circulation, rapidly cooling the body especially after time in a spa, sauna or steam room. The water temperature is kept at a constant of 4 to 8 degrees. Cold therapy numbs the nerves around the joint, thereby reducing pain and relieving inflammation and muscle spasms.

Steam Room

Relax in this +45°C wet heat infused with aromatherapy and herbal extracts to enhance your complexion and hair. Recommend a maximum of 10 minutes here.

Sauna & Laconium

This classic Finnish sauna has a temperature of +76° C and has a purifying and cleansing effect on the body. The recommended time is a maximum of 10 minutes here. The Laconium is a dry heat Roman sauna with warm tiled seating contouring your body to relax and soothe muscles.

Tepidarium & Heated Loungers

These are individual thermal couches contoured to the shape of your body. Lie back and feel the heat release and ease any pain or tension in muscles and joints.

Lifestyle Showers

This is a light mist of scented rain over the body to awaken your senses. Enjoy the fragrant tropical rain or invigorating ocean fresh scents.
