The cardio equipment in the gym includes treadmills, rowing machines, exercise bikes and cross-trainers. It provides an array of upper and lower body modular equipment and the dumbbell selection reaches up to 60kg in the designated free weights area. There is also an area dedicated for stretching and improving flexibility.
The state of the art High Performance Centre at Clayton Whites Hotel is designed to provide athletes with the facilities and equipment needed to improve all components of fitness for competitive sport such as speed, agility, strength and power.

Here at The Wexford Leisure Club we are now offering a full range of Irish Water Safety Guideline swimming lessons from Sea Level 1 for beginners, up to Orca Level 15 for advanced swimmers. Adult swimming lessons and one to one lessons also available.
This class is held by an external instructor, Sadhana Yoga. Yoga is a powerful vehicle for change, as you build strength; you start to believe in your own potential. Hotel residents and Wexford Leisure Club members enjoy a discounted rate of €11 per class.
A fun exercise class consisting of a large number of exercises designed to burn as much as possible. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and is a great way to reach your fitness goals. (Members €3.50 and non-members €7.00)
Fabulous at 50
This class is designed especially for your golden years. This class consists of a range of low impact aerobic exercises.
A class that consists of performing aerobic exercises in fairly shallow water. Aqua aerobics is a great class to improve your general fitness and is very beneficial for anybody needing rehabilitation as this is one of the lowest impact training methods.
A non-impact high intensity cardio vascular exercise class which takes place on a stationary bike. Image yourself climbing Mount Everest, racing in the Tour De France or peacefully cycling through the countryside. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Boxercise combines boxing and exercise in a great fun, stress busting activity which will suit everyone who wants to enjoy boxing training without getting hit. It combines use of both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems, enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing. Boxercise classes are always fun, energetic and addictive.
Begin to Spin
Begin to spin is a 30 minute short class to act as an introduction to Spin. This workout focus’ on endurance, strength, intervals and recovery. A guaranteed great workout!
This type of training is very intense but HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a miracle way to reduce your workout time and up your fat burning. Studies show that your metabolism is raised for 12-48 hours after a HIIT session. A great class if you are stuck for time but want to get the most from your workout.
